Having them in game is just amazing and it reminds me of the simplest time in life, I love that my young sims can play how I did as a kid. Heat waves, thunderstorms, blizzards, mud fights? As a kid growing up in the middle of nowhere in the American Southwest mud fights were like 80% of my childhood. With the calendar comes holiday creation which is great. You also get a calendar to schedule events (wedding planning anyone?) so you don’t have to plan the party the moment of, thank you! I hated that. You get the obvious seasons and weather to match (I live for the virtual thunderstorms! So well done!) The weather also varies per world and as a desert dweller I appreciate that it doesn’t snow in Oasis Springs since it only snows at my house once every seven years for like an hour (this doesn’t happen in game).
